April 28, 2012, is the last day the bricks and mortar retail store, Cool Stuff, will be open on this Earth.
Our hope is that this area will serve as a memorial to the great friends and great times that have interacted with Cool Stuff through the years. The passing of Cool Stuff into the annals of downtown Columbia’s history, will undoubtedly have an effect on a great many people. Please share your remembrances on this page so that a “living” record of a soon-to-be bygone era will be created and preserved for the future.

Thanks for being such great customers!
Thanks Cool Stuff for bringing laughter, silliness & culture from around the globe to Columbia!
We LOVE Cool Stuff!
I still remember leaving from St. Louis to come to Columbia, and all my friends would ask me to buy them something from Cool Stuff … thanks for being such a big part of what Columbia is today!

Cool Stuff is Gone, Gone, Gone! Great while it Lasted!
Yes, Cool Stuff was a great store, brightening up downtown. Gave Arnie a place to bring home many fascinating objects, trophies , and glamorous what-not. Could Arnie be settling down to be just another business man? No, that would never happen!
